What Our Clients Say

“My appreciation for Jan's yoga classes is immense. I was afraid to attempt yoga because I have restricted mobility, but Jan's welcoming style made me feel comfortable and supported right away. Her adjustments and support have enabled me to advance in ways I never would have imagined. Every class is genuinely uplifting and empowering because of Jan's genuine concern for everyone in her class..”

Hi, I’m Jan.

I’m a Calgary-based yoga instructor who has spent years guiding students in studios, community spaces, and small group settings.

As an authorized  yoga teacher, my focus is helping people build practices that support their bodies, calm their minds, and fit into real life.

Over time, I’ve found that the most meaningful practice happens in smaller, supportive environments where students feel comfortable, encouraged, and able to move at their own pace.

That’s why I focus on small-group classes, private sessions, and community-centered practice.

Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, my goal is to create a space where you feel welcome.

The Practice

Yoga is more than movement.

It’s a way to reconnect with your body, calm your mind, and create balance in everyday life.

My teaching focuses on:

• Building strength and stability
• Improving mobility and flexibility
• Developing breath awareness
• Creating calm and mental clarity
• Practicing in community

Because when we practice together, we support one another.

Community

Yoga is better together.

One of the most meaningful parts of this work is the community that forms around the practice.

Students support one another, encourage one another, and build friendships along the way. It’s not just about showing up for class — it’s about showing up for yourself and for each other.

Begin Where you Are

If you’re ready to move, breathe, and reconnect, I’d love to welcome you to a class.

Wherever you are in your practice, there’s a place for you here.

Encourage one another and build each other up.
