Our mission is to empower students and teachers with yoga-inspired exercises to promote lifetime wellness. Our vision is to have wellness programs available in schools so that students and teachers develop body-mind awareness and the ability to nurture their own well-being.

Yoga & Mindfulness Classes – 60-minute duration

 

Prioritizing being mindful and movement you become more reliable. Bringing awareness to your body & mind.  When you start to understand what throws you off, you can more easily navigate those moments and stay on track.

YOGA

Helping kids move with control and confidence, a yoga style designed to help kids move, breathe and feel better.

 

With kids being bombarded on social media with warped messages about body image, there is immense value in a practice that cultivates self-control and respect for your body.

Yoga being taught in schools is a secular form of mind-body exercise focused on mental and physical benefits, not spirituality.

MINDFULNESS

Depletion to Renewable – For Stress, Anxiety and Emotional Regulation 

 

A shift from a “top down” only model of self-regulation to one that includes a “bottom up” approach which helps leverage the connection between the heart, body, and emotional self-regulation skills.

Have you ever wanted to start journaling, but didn’t really know where to begin? Or maybe you haven’t yet found the courage to put pen to paper? Then this might be the encouragement you’ve been looking for!  Join us for a journey into the self, with our Yoga and Journaling workshop.

 

Yoga is a practice to explore your body and reconnect to yourself. It is as unique to you as your breath. Your body communicates what it needs to you. You become a witness to yourself through yoga. Yoga is a practice that is always changing and different. You never arrive at a stage at which there is no growth, much like life.

 

Journaling is a powerful form of learning, exploring, and even of spiritual growth. The connection physically between the sensation of writing at your fingertips and the emotions pouring out into physical words holds a power unlike any other. Journaling seems to magically bring to the surface what needs to be examined. Journaling also gives you permission to release the weight of that which weighs you down as it’s no longer trapped within you.

 

Through both yoga and journaling, you will learn new things about yourself, things you didn’t know you needed to grow forward on your journey.

 

This is a great time to reconnect to your desires for how you want your life to feel, what is important to you and the intentions you will set to create the opportunity for balance.

 

The Workshop

  • We will join together and set our personal intentions on paper privately.

  • We will do a 45-minute yoga practice.

  • We will take time to privately journal as we are led through creative journaling prompts to explore our intentions surrounding time, self-care, family, balance, and setting boundaries.

  • There will be an opening to share anything you want if you feel called, but this practice is for your growth and sacredly private to you as you choose.

  • We will end with a short guided meditation.

  • A journal or notebook and a pen, Yoga mat and any props you like
